United Methodist Women
The Aldersgate United Methodist Women’s Ministry (UMW) is a fellowship whose spiritual goal is to enhance an individual’s relationship with God and to provide an opportunity to participate in the local and global ministries of the church.
To achieve these goals, the women of Aldersgate have developed many wonderful programs that vary in their design and participation.

Ladies Night Out
The General Meeting of the Aldersgate UMW is held quarterly and is combined with our “Ladies Night Out” events. These special evenings begin at 6:30 pm with a catered dinner in our Fellowship Hall, followed by a brief meeting and an entertaining, informational, inspirational program.
Garage Sales
To support our local and global mission projects, we hold a church-wide garage sale, once in the Spring and once in the fall. These events begin on a Monday, as members and helpers converge to sort and price donated items and then culminates the following Friday and Saturday as we open the doors to our neighbors and friends to find that “special treasure” they can’t do without. We also sell a variety of great sharp kitchen knives and flavorings (vanilla, lemon) all year long.
